Helping with the old table.

We now have a new table with comfortable chairs!

Addison of course wanted to help. I tried to keep her entertained while Grandpa and Daddy put the table and chairs together.

She was having none of the Mommy entertainment when it came time to take the old table apart for storage. 12/31/08

Who Needs Table Manners?

We went to Lancaster to look at chairs. Now that Addison is getting older I want to start eating dinner as a family. Jon does not really like the chairs we have because he says they are uncomfortable.

The store I was thinking about going to went out of business, so we went to Target. After shopping I suggested that we eat at Chili's.

Addison was having a good time playing with the crayon's (which she broke). The picture is of her right as she is breaking one.

She even had some goldfish and sweet potatoes.

As soon as our food came of course this is when she decided that she was not having as much fun. Jon fed her some of his corn on the cob and when he was done he gave it to her. 12/30/08

Merry Chirstmas!

I hope you all had a wonderful and merry Christmas.

It was fun to watch Addison carry around the gifts. It was also fun to see her excited about the gifts when I opened them for her.

More Christmas Eve

I had to break the pictures up, because I could only post 5 pictures. There is a picture of why Addison had to take a bath. A picture of Addison in her Christmas PJ's and of Addison lying on the floor. She had been doing this lately when she is tired.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we went over to Jon's parents for dinner and Addison opened her gifts from her Grandparents.

Jon's Dad made Addison a table and chair. He also carved a Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus.

Addison had a good time "opening" gifts. She had more fun carrying around the gifts. She really enjoyed the kitchen.

After eating, opening gifts, taking a bath, we went home.

Helping Decorate

Today I finally got around to decorating the house. As I was decorating Addison decided she would help.

My Very Own Bear Skin Rug.

A while back we bought Addison a stuffed bear that looks like a bearskin rug.

Before we bought it I would ask her if she wanted it and she would say, “No.” Finally one day she said, “Yes.” So we bought it for her.

Since that day she has pretty much let it be. Yesterday was a different story. She was lying on the floor, so I put her on the bear. Today she laid on it by herself without any encouragement from us.

Peek-A-Boo

While outside enjoying the snow, Addison played a little game of peek-a-boo!

Snow Fun!

We took Addison out in the snow. She had a good time.

I had her feel some in my hand and then asked her if she wanted more. She said, "No."

She also fell on her bottom.

She did not want to come in. After we brought her in she had a warm bath. She ate and went right to bed. Playing in the snow wears a little one out!!

There is also a picture of our street.

Let It Snow!

Today it snowed here. I let Addison walk out to the car. When we got home, I let her feel the snow. This is her first experience with snow.

I think she thinks likes it. She came into the room with her sweater after I put it on her she walked to the door thinking I would let her go outside.

Addison's First Ponytail.

Today I got a call from a friend to go to Target. Who would turn down a Target trip? So I got myself and Addison ready. I put a bow in Addison's hair, and she pulled it out like she normally does. I thought to myself lets try to put it in the back, so she does not pull it out. It looked so cute, I just had to share!!

I am also excited she has enough hair to pull back in a ponytail!

17 months

Today Addison turned 17 months. We went to have Breakfast with Santa. The picture is of her on the way, she was too cute that I snapped the picture. We also went to a baby shower. She was a trouper! She did not get to nap as much as she usually does. She got about a 1/2 hour one before we left and a 5 minute one in the car.

I will post about the Santa breakfast when I scan the picture in the computer.

When I Grow Up...

I want to be like my Mom!

Since Addison has been able to reach the key basket on the door, she takes out my school keys and puts them on. One day Jon let Addison have an empty cup, she enjoys carrying it around.

Daddy's Girl

Part of the reason I started the blog, was so I could share the cute moments that do not come across in the slideshows. Another reason is to help me remember them and also share with friends and family that do not get to see Addison as much as they would like

Today when I went to pick up Addison we were hanging out with Grandma and I decided that it was time to go home. I asked Addison if she was ready to go home and see Daddy. She took off to kiss Grandpa goodbye.

Vegas Baby!

This weekend Addison made her first trip to Vegas. We visited Aunt Linda and Owen. It was nice to see them both and spend time with them.
We stayed at the Venetian. We ended up staying in a room that is as big as our house. Addison really liked the steps that were in the room. She would crawl up and down them a lot. She also enjoyed looking out the window at the lights, too!!
