Happy Father's Day!

Addison helped me cook pancakes for Jon on Father's day. She really enjoyed helping. 6/21/09

Somersalt

Today Addison was on the couch, she was doing what I would call a elephant stand (hands and feet on the couch). I was just getting ready to tell her to sit down on the couch and she flipped over. Or it was more like I could tell she was going to try. So I sat back and watched to she how she was going to work it out. She did flip, but not all the way. I was getting ready to tell her good job baby, but then I realized she was stuck. She started to fuss a little. I did not take a picture, but maybe we have a future gymnast in out lives?

The beach really wears you out...

After we came back from the ocean, we took a shower. Addison laid down while I straighten things out.

That night when I put her in the tent she put her hands above her head. I could not pass up those pictures. 6/14/09

I took Addison down to the ocean. She had a good time running away from the water. She would run around and wave her hands in the air. It was fun to watch her have such a good time. 6/14/09

Firemen!

While we were in Carpinteria there was a fireman show in the field by the campsite.
We went over and had a hotdog and looked at the firetrucks. We even got our picture taken with some of the Carpinteria firemen. A man was giving out stickers. He gave a few to Addison when I put one on her she pointed to it and said, "sticker." 6/13/09

Tide Pools

We got up and went to the tide pools one morning. Addison enjoyed it. We were able to see a few crabs, a sea star. 6/13/09

Happy Birthday Momma and Auntie Kerin!

While camping I celebrated my birthday. I have a really good friend who has the same birthday. She got me a gift certificate to the best candy store. Thank you Kerin and hope you had a great day!! 6/13/09

More camping pictures

Addison enjoyed camping. I would put her in her pajama's and then hang out at the campfire. Addison was out within a few minutes and would usually stay that way until I put her to bed in the tent. The first night she woke up and fussed a little, after that she fell right back to sleep. The picture of her sleeping in my arms is right before she woke up because the train came by.

There is a picture of her after she fell asleep and I went to get on the air mattress and I bounced her off. She looked up and then put her head back down. I could not pass up that picture.

Camping at the Beach

Addison found out about climbing trees. She really enjoyed it and did it at least once a day.


Addison and I went camping at Carpinteria State Beach. Addison had a much better time than the last time we went camping. By the time we left the campsite she did not freak out when she was in the tent. In fact she enjoyed the tent. Every time she would see a tent she would point to it and say, "Tent." The pictures are from 6/11/09.

New Chair

Addison's grandparents gave Addison a new chair to take camping. Addison tried it out.

Jon also got a new chair. Addison had a good time playing in the box! 6/9/09

Early Birthday Dinner

I knew I was going to be out of town for my birthday, so I asked Jon to take me to an early birthday dinner. We went to Outback. Addison was able to sit on the bench like a big girl. She then started to play with the blinds, so we put her in a high chair. Addison was also nice enough to pay! 6/6/09
