Singing is hard work!

Addison really likes Pink (the singer)! She really enjoys the song on her latest CD Funhouse. The song is called So What and there is a part where she sings Na na na... Addison hears the song and she starts to laugh and then when it get to the Na na part she sings it too. It is very cute!! This is a video of her singing along. The video was taken on 5/20/09.

Addison feeding Bubbles

Addison has really gotten into helping. The other day I had Addison take the dishes to the table before we ate. She thought that was the greatest. There is another thing she really enjoys, feeding Bubbles. She even goes to the refrigerator to get the food. It is very cute. She does not like it when Bubbles comes at her in the backyard. It is funny she can put food by her face, but if she moves towards her when she is playing that is not OK! The pictures were taken on 5/18/09

"New" House

Jon's dad went garage sale shopping. He came over with a house for Addison. Addison really enjoys it. She would point outside and say, "It house!" 5/16/09

Short PJ's

Addison needed summer PJ's. We went to Target and got her some that had long and short pants. We bought them.

Last year there would be no way I would have bought them. Last summer I was on a mission to find footie PJ's, I was not ready for her to be in big girl PJ's. She did have a few that I would put her in, but they were gifts and she would not go to bed without socks on (her feet might have gotten cold). This year I have let go a little and she even has short PJ's.

In the Nude!

Today I put Addison down for her morning nap in just her diaper. This has never been a problem before, but then again she is in a shirt and her diaper. When I went in to get her for her nap she was naked! She was having a good time. Guess I should have went in to get her sooner than I did. She was playing around, I was enjoying hearing her have a good time.

Addison is 22 months!

On the 13th of May Addison turned 22 months. It is hard to believe 2 years ago I was waiting for my little girl.

I was wondering what color hair she would have, would she have Jon's skin issues? Would she have allergies? Would she have 10 fingers and toes? Who would she look like? Would she have my nose, Jon's eyes? I was also worried about if I would be in much pain during labor. If I would have to have a c-section after hours of hard labor. I think pretty much what any pregnant woman goes through!

Now that she is 2 months away from 2, I could not be happier that she is here. I can not imagine my life without her cute smile in the morning. Her hugs and kisses. The cute things she does that usually just put a smile on your face! 5/14/09

Sharpie

Addison found a sharpie. She decided it would be fun to color on herself and the carpet. I took pictures of her while she was sleeping, I did not want her to get the idea that it is okay to mark on the carpet or herself. I am sure we will have more mishaps, but I want to keep them to a minimum. It is mostly off of her, the carpet I am still working on. 5/9/09

Bug!

Jon had Addison outside. She found a ladybug. She was very gentle picking it up and showing each of us the bug. Unfortunately for the bug her grip turned a little less gentle.

Happy Mother's Day 2009

We had a nice quiet day.

I took Addison over to my classroom to finish her gift for her Grandma. We took it over to her. Then Jon took us to Outback for lunch. We then went to Target to get PJ's and juice. Addison then came home and took a nap. Hope all you mothers had a great day!! I did. 5/10/09

Hello!

Addison loves to pick up the phone and say hello.

Jon was on the phone and when he was done he put it on the bed. Addison picked it up and said, "Hello." Jon decided he would call his mom and gave the phone to Addison. She is still working on the whole you talk to who is on the other end. She just smiled. Of course as soon as we hung up the phone she picked it up again and said, "Hello!" 5/03/09
