Ice Cream!!

Addison had her first ice cream cone that was all her own. Usually we share one with her. She really enjoyed it. She even takes after her mom and likes the cone part! 4/23/09

While over at Grandma and Grandpa's Addison decided to wear her PJ's a little differently.

She also has a new trick of hanging on the foot board. I think I might see a little gymnast in our future! 4/27/09

Go Cubs Go!!

When we were in Chicago in June. We picked up a jersey for Addison. These are pictures of Addison sporting the Cubs Jersey.

I did not take pictures of her in it for the first time. Thanks Grandpa for coming through!!

Lemon!

We went out to lunch. Jon had an iced tea with lemon. Jon gave her the lemon. She seemed to like it! 4/11/09

Play station!

I will now give you some background on the faucet.

Last week we were at Costco and Jon saw a faucet he wanted, then a few isles down Addison saw the water station. She of course made an ooh sound. Jon then told her she was not going to get that faucet unless he got the faucet he wanted.

A few days later Jon went and got the faucet. I asked him if he got Addison her faucet. He said no. This must have put the bug in his ear, because when I got home on Wednesday Addison had her faucet!

I think she likes it. She played for about 2 hours and did not want to stop. She was soaked from head to toe! 4/22//09

Jon and Addison hung out on Wednesday. Addison does know how to work the Daddy for gifts! This time the gift was a water play station. These are pictures of her playing with the box and trying to get it open. 4/22/09

Zitti is yummy!!

We had zitti for dinner. Addison really enjoyed it, but then again I don't think there is a pasta out there that she doesn't like! 4/14/09

A Little Light Reading.

We have a small dictionary, Addison found it. Since then she has pretty much claimed it as hers. I think she likes that it is the perfect size for her little hands.

The other night I went to put her down for the night and she had it in her hand. I asked if I could have it, she said no. Figuring it would be easier to let her have it than to have a melt down, I let her have it. She automatically opened it up when I laid her down and put the cover over her. 4/11/09

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a great and safe day!

We went over to Jon's parent's house. Clint came over for dinner.

Addison really enjoyed the food, especially the deviled eggs.

In the morning she got in to Daddy’s basket and got a chocolate bunny. When going through her basket she would show me each item. She also tried out Pez, she really liked that she could lift the head and candy came out. She is still trying it out, but there are no more.

Addison is 21 months!

My where does the time go? Seems like just yesterday I was holding her in the hospital! She was so tiny that she fit perfectly on my chest. Now she has to fold herself up to fit on my lap to snuggle! She still likes to snuggle on occasion. This morning she was in the mood to snuggle at 3:30. She does not do it too often, so once in a while I oblige her! Plus I love it when she wants to snuggle, who cares what time it is and that I have to get to work by 7 in the morning. Who needs sleep?!

She still enjoys shoes and books! She can spread her toys from one end of the room to the other in no time flat.

She can follow simple directions and loves to help. The other night I her put the silverware on the table. She thought that was the greatest thing ever. I am not to sure she will think it is too great in a few years. 4/13/09
