Hanging out in the backyard.

It has been really nice here. Addison has enjoyed playing in the backyard. I got my camera out and she started to spin around as she was walking. I went to take a movie of it, but of course she stopped. 1/28/09

On Saturday I went to a friend’s baby shower, so Jon and Addison got to hang out together without mommy!

When I got home, they were no where to be found. I called Grandma and Grandpa’s to see if they might have ventured over there to hang out. No luck. While talking to Jon’s mom they pulled up. Jon then proceeded to open the trunk and pull out a pink and purple tricycle. He said she just looked at him and he knew she needed one, so they ventured down to Wal-Mart! This is while she was playing with the push and ride bus she got for her birthday.

We took it out in the back yard where Addison had a wonderful time!!

Potty time

A friend gave us a potty seat that sits on the ground. Addison thought she would try it out with some reading materials of course! 1/19/09

Lea came over with the boys on Saturday (1/16/09) to hang out.

While hanging out we went outside to enjoy the nice weather, they were playing with bubbles and then decided to go to the side of the house. It was fun to watch Leo try to herd up Addison and Aaron!.

On the 15th I came home and Addison was taking a nap. She looked so peaceful, so I took a picture!

We have started eating dinner as a family. Addison enjoys it and talks it up. One night she was finished with her food and decided that she needed to make sure it was all gone! 1/12/09

18 Months, Where does the time go?

This morning when I went in to get Addison she was standing up. When I took the picture she just smiled.

Bubbles!

Yesterday was another beautiful day.

Jon took Addison outside in the backyard and blew bubbles for her. By the time I got the camera Jon was bubbled out, so I blew bubbles and Jon took pictures.

Sparkly Shoes

A while back Addison and I were shopping at Target and they had some red sparkly shoes. I showed Addison and she just grinned!

Another time Jon was with us and I showed Addison the shoes. Once again Addison grinned. Jon said she really did not need the shoes, so we left them at the store.

I went shopping with a friend and her daughter; I showed her Addison's reaction. After getting the same reaction at least 3 times, I decided to get her the shoes. The only down fall is they did not have the red ones in her size, so I bought a pair of black ones. She did not seem to mind, she held them all through the store.

Today Addison went to the park twice!

Today was a beautiful day. A friend and I went out to lunch. While at lunch I mentioned that I had to pick up Addison at the park. Her grandkids where with us, and wanted to go to the park. So we went to the park. Addison had a great time exploring and playing with Meagan and Brennan.

Potty Training.

For Christmas Addison received a training seat. It has sat under the tree, until the other day. She grabbed it and started to play with it. This is when I decided that it might be a good idea to let her try it out while she is interested. She thought it was pretty neat, she even when for the toilet paper.

I had to unfortunately. I went to get her and she looked so peaceful I had to take a picture.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks of together. She got used to sleeping in, but now that vacation is over I had to wake her to go to the Grandparent's house. I am sure in a few days that she will be waiting for me to get her out of the crib.

Addison Street Sign!

For the longest time Jon and I have been looking for an Addison street sign. We found plently of Addison/Clark signs, but we wanted one with just her name on it. Jon finally found one and we gave it to her for Christmas. It also has the address of Wrigley Field.
